Four shields in the form of a cross about the Star of India in the centre, bunches of laurel and oak alternate in the angles. From the top clockwise, the shields show the coats of arms of Great Britain (upright, crowned), Canada (rotated 90 degrees clockwise), Cape Colony (upside down) and Australia (rotated 90 degrees anticlockwise). At the foot: “RD NO 382121”
