Conjoined crowned busts of the King and Queen, right, he robed. Legend on a raised pebbled band: “BORN NOVR. 9TH. 1841 CROWNED JUNE 25TH. 1902”, star at the foot.

A quartered crowned shield representing the British Empire: top left, kangaroo (Australia); top right, beaver (Canada), bottom left, tiger (India), bottom right, arms of the Cape Colony. In the centre of the shield, the Royal coat of arms in a circle. On a ribbon around: “HONI . SOIT . QUI . MAL . Y PENSE” and a garland of the nation flowers of Britain below. Above, in an arc: “GOD SAVE THE KING”. Legend around: “TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION OF HIS MAJESTY KING EDWARD VII”.
