Edge: Plain.

Obverse: Within an oval on left, bareheaded bust of Queen Alexandra, half right. Within an oval on right, bareheaded bust of King Edward in uniform, half left. A crown bridging the ovals above. Sprigs of rose, thistle and others between ovals. Below on a ribbon: "DIEU ET MON DROIT" in front half laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Legend on a narrow band: "ALEXANDRA QUEEN CONSORT (left) EDWARD THE SEVENTH (right).

Reverse: Fame on ground facing right blowing her trumpet supporting Royal coat of arms. On left, scene of River Thames and Westminster with radiant sun behind. Legend on a narrow band: "GOD SAVE THE KING (left) GOD SAVE THE QUEEN (right) 26th JUNE 1902 (bottom)".

Notes: Commissioned by Mappin & Webb from the Paris Mint for sale in Britain.

The silver medal was graded SP65 by PCGS.

Also issued in smaller sized silver and bronze medals with diameter 38mm.
