Notes: Johannes Hendrik Philip (Johan) Wortman (1872-1898) was a Dutch sculptor and medalist.

Wilhelmina Helena Pauline Maria (1880-1962) became Queen of the Netherlands in 1890 on the death of her father, King William III. Until she turned 18 her mother, Queen Emma, served as regent. This medal commemorates the regency period of Queen Emma and its ending on 31 August 1898, the 18th Birthday Queen Wilhelmina. She was crowned 6 days later on 6th December.

Four hundred of these medals were made for pretension to the court guards and servants at this time of the inauguration.

It is not known when the replica medals were made.
