Between branches of laurel at the top and bottom: “HONOURED WITH / THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE / 1984”. To the lower left, close to the rim, the crossed pick and hammer mark of the Royal Norwegian Mint. On the rightmost laurel leaf, the purity mark: “925 S”.
