Form: Circular. Gilt medal holed for a ring to a suspension with upper and lower gilt pressed metal bars, red while blue ribbon faced with gilt cut-out GvR monogram.

Edge: Plain.

Obverse: Conjoined busts of the King and Queen, left, he bareheaded, she diademed. Signed in script on the truncation: "Gaunt. Birm." Legend on an incused band, partly obscured by design: "GEORGIUS.V.REX.ET.IMP.MARIA.REG"

Reverse: Britannia seated on a raised dias, front, holding trident and Imperial crown. Legend on a band, partly obscured by design: "TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION.1911". In the exergue, a plaque: "INDIA.AUSTRALIA / CANADA.NEW-ZEALAND / SOUTH-AFRICA".

Notes: Larger medals come inside a blue case lined with white silk and blue velvet.
